HOW I HEALING MY ACNE

Do you guys have a never-ending acne problem on your skin?

You've already put skincare products on your face every night and still can not handle your acne problem?

You have tried a lot of methods but still can not figure it out?

I am an acne fighter and I've been experiencing a lot of skincare products till an expensive treatment from the beauty clinic. The good result is always only temporary on my skin but sometimes the breakouts come again. Then, I realize maybe the problem is not only on my skin but inside of my body. So, you know what are the most important things to do? HEALTHY LIFESTYLE.

This was my skin condition before applying a consistently healthy lifestyle.


And this one is my skin condition right now.



Actually, my face is still not clear enough. There were a few acne scars, but it changed so much more than before and was not just temporary.

I won’t talk about what kind of skincare routine that I put on. But this is about how you accept your skin condition and want a change for your health. And the best result is not only good to cure my acne but also gives a good impact on the whole of my body. So here are my tips that I had summarized from articles and dermatologist that I apply:

First, do exercise.

If you have an acne problem, there are certain factors like inflammation in insulin sensitivity, hormones, and stress levels that you have to maintain. One of the best ways is through exercise. Due to this fact, exercise will increase blood flow and unclog pores through sweating.

To make it easy, I never put a high intensity on my exercise. I usually run away from the blocks for around 1 hour for 2 days a week in the morning or evening. And yea I’ve just made it consistent. Exercise really gave me good energy, increasing mood, and better quality sleep. Then of course my skin turns out more chewy. I love it so much.

Second, we are what we eat.

Our gut, liver, food, and skin are connected. The food that we eat has to go through and get approved by the liver. The good nutrients will get redirected to parts of the body's needs. But, if we’re eating a lot of deep-fried foods and junk foods, our liver is filled up with very low nutrients or toxins. Then, the buildup of toxins in the liver can show up as acne. Your skin problems show up due to excess toxins in your body. 

So, it’s important to heal your gut with healthy food. There are three main foods to get rid of acne according to Dr. Josh Axe such as fiber like vegetables, good quality protein like wild fish, and healthy fats. Meanwhile, foods that you must avoid according to Dr. Davin Lim such as refined foods, dairy, and gluten.

I personally, not really striking so much with those recommended foods. Because sometimes it’s hard for me to deny pizza and instant noodles. But I always overcontrol the food that I eat because I feel guilty about my gut. Even though I am cheating, I always make sure that I eat enough fiber every single day. Fiber that I often consumed were carrot, melon, papaya, banana, dragon fruits, and guava. I love to mix those fruits as juice or I slice them as a snack. Eating fiber really helps my skin to resist new acne.

Last but not least, stay hydrated.

This is very basic things to do. Drinking a lot of water every day (at least 2 liters) helps to purge toxins from the blood which keeps your skin glowing and clear. 

Actually, this is the first step that I have chosen to adjust healthy lifestyle because drinking water is the easiest. Water is very necessary to our body.

Here are my conclusions. Right now, maybe you are overwhelmed because you feel there are a lot of ways to get rid of the acne problem. If you asked, where should I go first? My answer is to start from things that are close and easy for you. Don’t make it a pressure. You don't have to apply all of the healthy life methods at one time. One step will affect so much but try to be consistent. Do it because you love it and you'll be happy about it.

Once you finally step-in from a healthy lifestyle, then you feel good about it, you might become addicted to it. And this is a good addiction for you. Because real life should be applying a healthy lifestyle like this.
